Since the 1990's, we have led the effort to protect and advance a worker's agenda in the Canadian brewery landscape. Our coalition, across multiple Unions, represents a few thousand workers and advocates for them within every sector in the Canadian brewing industry.

Our Mission

While the Canadian Brewery Council does not have an "official" mission statement it's basically as follows; We are committed to improving our members lives by developing and sustaining open lines of communications and fostering collaboration through sharing of collective agreements and all other labour related matters that can help illuminate the playing field against an aggressive anti-worker agenda. We've agreed to put partisan matters aside, whether it be who you work for or what Union represents you and solely focus on the opportunity that co-operation can provide to enhance, protect, and defend our members interests.

We must put self-interest and politics aside and focus on what matters the most, enhancing the lives of our hard working members.
— David Bridger, President Canadian Brewery Council
